As now a days computer networking are increasing rapidly and people get connected to local network or home network etc,and due to one user another user need to suffer when any one of user run unusual programs in there computer.

The question is how do they disable running of such software to surf smoothly?

The answer is simple the administrator need to set the programs that other can use.not every programs can run in computer.
But other software can get install in computer but cannot run it until the software is added to the specific list.
Here's how to set the program to specific list that allow the application to run.
  • Go to Run box.
  • Type gpedit.msc and hit Enter.
  • A Local group policy editor windows will open.
  • Near the left panel click on User Configuration.
  • Then go to Administrative Templates.
  • Then go to System.
  • On the right panel of windows, scroll down and there will be a file named as "Run only specified windows application"  open it.
  • A new window will open, set to Radio button to Enable and below it in Option area written "List of allowed application" on its side written Show.
  • Click on Show button and write the name of application with extension.
  • Then click on OK and Again hit OK and exit the Local group policy editor.

All done now the user cannot run unusual programs without administrator's permission.

NOTE:- Writing the application with file extension is must or else it will not work. The radio button is a circular button as shown below:-
This picture is for those who don't know as people get confuse where this radio button is?.
This trick is for windows Vista,7,8 and may work in windows XP.
