Today we'll talk about computers most frequent problem know as PCI DEVICE LISTING.
lets start:-
pci stands for Peripheral Component Interconnect.
sometime due to newly installed graphic card,video card,add on cards,audio card,internal networking modem etc it occurs.
to know this problem just boot your computer and before booting it hangs at BLACK AND WHITE screen saying "PCI DEVICE LISTING"
there at the top left your computers configuration is written.something written like CPU TYPE AND CACHE MEMORY and so on.
at the bottom of screen there may be written ACPI CONTROLLER or MASS STORAGE CONTROLLER or DISPLAY CONTROLLER ETC.
then if you tried formatting your hdd and reinstalling windows and after that it isn't work.
then the only thing you can do (1st try this step then it works fine)
is
1) unplug you pc.
2) open the cabinet.
3) take out all the pci device like graphic card or modem,video card etc make sure that pci slot is empty.
4) insert your monitor's plug into the motherboard's slot instead of graphic card's slot.
5) take the windows CD/DVD and insert it into rom.
6) start your computer and enter BIOS while tapping DELETE or F10 from your keyboard.
7) go to BIOS FEATURE SETUP.
8) there you'll find FIRST BOOT FROM.
9) change that 1sth boot to CD/DVD ROM.
10) hite f10 then hit "Y" from keyboard and then hit ENTER.
11) again install the OS.and after finishing the setup do not change the "1ST BOOT FROM TO HARD DRIVE" as your PC will automatically do this.
12) than after installation make your computer restart for almost 10 times.
then again if it works fine then instal your pci device.

NOTE:- do not change your by yourself hard drive,motherboard,cmos battery or any other drive,or devices till they are not damage.
before installing windows backup your data or just format your whole hdd.than make a new partitions and reinstall it.there is also another way of doing this.if this doesn't work mail me.
